7/29 at 1:08 Houma now has a great Lounge! ACT II it is a really nice place and has some nice deals. It is the same owner as Drama and is in the same lot. |

8/23 at 14:56 Lake Charles is having its first Pride event. Sept. 19 @ the Lake Charles Civic Center outside stage. New Orleans very own Josh Duffy will be performing along with Laurel and others. Event is from 11am-6pm with an after party/show @ Crystals just about 4 blocks away. |

9/27 at 14:44 They need a page for Baton Rouge! The gay nightlife in Baton Rouge includes Splash, Georges, "L", Spanish Moon, and Flavors. Splash: Dance club. Music: Mostly techno. Largest dance club in BR. Free cover before 11. Show's on Thursday nights. Open Wed - Saturday. Any special events held on Fridays. Website: www.splashbr.com Georges: Bar located near downtown. Mixed older and younger crowd depending on the night. Occasional shows, and random music. "L": Lesbian bar across the street from Georges under the interestate (new MS river bridge) Music: Rap, techno, house. Spanish Moon (right down the road from "L") is gay friendly, but the crowd is mixed gay/straight. Music: 80's, Rock, Metal, Live bands from time to time. Flavors is a generally black gay bar located on Florida Blvd I believe. Music: Rap Not into gay bars? Ask about the following if ur in town: The Varsity, Fox and Hound, Triple A/Funny Bone, Gold Club (gentlemens club), Clicks Billiards, Avoylles on the River... Downtown has some night clubs/bars. Also ask about the other hole in the wall bars and daquirie shops scattered throughout the city. |
